First facilitated circles
Volunteer-led gatherings focused on reflective listening around Paraparaumu and Waikanae. Feedback called for written summaries and clearer boundaries.
02 — Story
Why we chose Coastlands and how our Aotearoa programmes took shape.
Beginning
Jointssyboostux began as informal listening circles in halls along the Kāpiti Coast. Facilitators heard the same request: more continuity—not one-off events—and a neutral room away from home pressures.
Coastlands offered accessible parking, steady hours, and enough privacy for small groups. We fitted out Shop 3 with flexible seating and storage that stays out of sight until needed.
Interactive timeline
Volunteer-led gatherings focused on reflective listening around Paraparaumu and Waikanae. Feedback called for written summaries and clearer boundaries.
Anchor Series and Renewal Arc tested with pilot cohorts. Modules shortened when participants said mid-week energy was low.
Permanent room at 150 Rimu Road. Privacy and consent documents published before public enrolment opened.
Small-group format with paired accountability and Open Studio Hour for graduates wanting light-touch follow-up.
Philosophy
Emotional balance work is personal and non-linear. We avoid language suggesting instant change or ranking people by progress. Facilitators train in neutral mirroring, trauma-aware pacing, and transparent programme boundaries.
You keep agency over pace, disclosure, and which tools you practise between sessions.
Local roots
Most participants travel from Paraparaumu, Waikanae, and Raumati. We welcome people from wider Wellington if the drive suits—online check-ins are available on Renewal Arc by arrangement.
We share bios and supervision practices before you enrol—just ask.
